Review Policy

The following are a list of my rules for reviewing....

THERE AREN'T ANY!
  • I only review what inspires me in someway. Something that leaves me feeling like I MUST share with the rest of the world.

  •  I don't review everything I read... come on, I read far too much for that!

  • And most importantly, I only read what I WANT to read!

That's not to say that I'm not open to suggestions (Please send me those!) It's just that my reading/blogging/reviewing is for fun! It's something that I enjoy doing and I'd like to keep that way. If I take on too many, promise too many reviews to too many authors, it will become a chore and stop being enjoyable. I don't ever want to find myself feeling like that! If you have something that you think may be up my alley and genuinely would like my opinion, I'm all for it.

If you'd like to submit something for review, I can't promise that I'll love it. I CAN promise to check it out, do my research, and get back to you!  IF I decide to review, I can also promise to be honest! I'll tell you what I loved, and what I struggled with. My words will always be constructive in nature, and with love. You will NOT find me being hateful or cruel. If I love your work, I will shout it from the roof-tops and plug you to no end on the blog, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, and any other outlet you'd like!

My reviews also come with no time policy. I can give an estimate. Usually less than a week, but it just depends on what is going on in life, and what else I have on my plate at that moment. I always review about a day after finishing a book. This allows me time to reflect on the work, while keeping it fresh in my mind.

It is my goal to get those worthy authors noticed in the little way that I can! I do not profit from any of this, except for the joy that it brings me!

Questions? Comments? Shoot me an e-mail! I'd love to hear from you!!

  1. Tyra,
Hi, and love your your energy and honesty.
I'm an author and I have a book that is quirky and I guess you could call it paranormal as three of the main characters are ghosts.

Love to have you consider it for a review. It's called House on Plunkett Street and I would be happy to send you a PDF for download.

You can reach me at Lorena@LorenaBBooks.com

    Thanks for your time,
    Lorena Bathey

  2. Hello. I just came across your page as a link from Addison Moore's web page. I notice that we have several favorite authors in common. One author I do not see is Rachel Higginson who wrote the Star Crossed Lovers Series. I really loved that series and wanted to toss it out as a suggestion for you to check into at some point.
